Kristen Bell On her New Move Entitled Mnemovore

This past weekend, at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland, Oregon, supporters took a surprise attempt to 10 minutes of footage of a proposed Mnemovore film, starring Kristen Bell, according to Comics in February Film. Mnemovore is based on the mini-series by the same name by DC Comics Vertigo.

It tells the story of a professional snow boarder who suffers an accident that gave her amnesia. This amnesia puts it in a position to fight an ancient entity that feeds on the memory of humanity.

Hans Rodionoff, a comic book creator and producer of independent films produced the video. Rodionoff said that fans Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth) is on board as executive producer, and that the pictures have been taken to show Rodionoff del Toro, which is capable of directing. There has been no confirmation that Bell would be in the actual film.

Kristen Bell And Jason Segal Together

The phrase "striking while the iron is hot" approached into mind on the set of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a latest romantic comedy from the gradually stronger Judd Apatow steady. While the 40 year old virgin and knocked up director dons a producer's hat for Marshall, the movie is being directed by an Undeclared alum (Nicholas Stoller was a writer on the Apatow-created TV series) and was written by and stars Knocked Up's Jason Segal.

Marshall tells the story of a regular guy who happens to date, and then break up with, a starlet on the rise (Veronica Mars cutie Kristen Bell). On these hours of darkness, a movie theater in the heart of Hollywood is decked out for a faux-premiere for one of Kristen Bell's character's movies.

From vantage point on a raised platform near the red carpet, I — a budget Ryan Seacrest — observe Jason Segal and Kristen Bell in action. And it's a sight to behold: Segal is tall, lanky, and moves like an elderly man covered in cement. Kristen Bell is petite, bright-eyed, and bounces around with an energy that should be bottled and sold on the mass market. Noticing that my fellow journalists and I are too far from the craft services table to make an easy food run, Bell sweetly saunters over with a handful of grapes and offers them to us. As she literally has us eating out of her hand, Segal shouts above the crowd of extras and crew (all of whom he towers over), "Stop sucking up to the press." Kristen Bell's middle finger says the rest.
"We all just got back from two weeks in Hawaii, so we got to know each other really well," Kristen Bell says. "So, we screw around whenever we can."

The act consists of Kristen Bell navigating her way down the carpet all the way through throngs of photographers, fellow actors, and fans while Jason Segal stands off to the side, neglected. In between takes, Kristen Bell and Jason Segal fall into an easy chemistry. For a while, they pass the time mock slapping each other, tossing their heads back dramatically with each almost-impact. Kristen Bell will explain that this is part of Segal's professional philosophy: "In comedy," she imparts, like a true devotee, "you have to be willing to take the hit."
